Turkish Society of Rochester was established in 1969. There are over 750.000 Turkish Americans in the United States; nearly 4.000 of them live in Rochester, New York area. About 25 families established the Turkish Society of Rochester in 1969. Their main purpose was to gather Turks under one roof during Turkish National and Religious Holidays.
